I play my own version of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica, one of my favorites. The lyrics inspired me to create my own acoustic version, stripped of the heavy metal aspects. Most people seem to like it but are shocked when I tell them it's Metallica.
On another front, Canadian leaders are walking back their stance on immigration, after Trump told them something fearsome about borders and tariffs. So now what? Canada's image of welcoming multiculturalism, and tolerance is faltering and people are rightly fed up I'd say. The economy, our culture, our values and prospects have been systematically eroded by our own leaders and shadowy globalist influencers. They've lost credibility as they keep lying and switching positions so perhaps the end is near for the despised PM. Until then you might say "nothing else matters"
I was fortunate to hear an acoustic version of this song -- a brilliant friend, musician and woodworker played it for my wife and I. Mind blown!
The systemic undermining of Canada and its culture, much like what's happening in Australia and the UK, is tragic. I'm not sure switching out political puppets will make one iota of a difference (they all appear to be owned) but, in the absence of other options, it can't hurt.
Interesting about the voting patterns and the disillusion with the voting system. Maybe the pitchforks will come out when people stop believing in the myth of Governments being for the people.
