Hurrah, I can comment on this uplifting story. Not sure what the problem was.

So much here to learn from. Its so encouraging that the Chinese are turning away from Hollywood.

It's interesting and ironic that in a surveilled, oppressive society with social credit scores, they could spin up a new narrative to bolster their dreams of ultimate domination. It's not just entertainment for sure; they're getting better and better at subtle manipulation, and it's a very powerful influence. It seems like we're in Psy-War now... a new cold war.

At the front of very classroom in China is a sign that says: never forget the century of humiliations. There is no point in arguing about it. They suffered and were humiliated.

Given the actions of the west over time, I can't say they are too wrong. We have not had a particularly stellar record in our foreign relations.

There have been quite a few things done historically that are not exactly things we should be proud of. They don't just disappear overnight.
