Excellent interview which really amounts to an education. If I stack in my safe that is fine but if I stack on the internet and it is grid down for whatever reason, Oops.
Monero, unlike bitcoin is set up to be a privacy coin that if used correctly can be a backup to fiat and other traceable currencies. There are small communities popping up willing to accept it and trade it for bitcoin or other assets. If and when they implement CBDCs it'll become one of the few ways to protect wealth and trade outside the system. The loss of privacy and the acceptance of government control over more and more of our lives is happening before our eyes. The insidious manipulation seems to have lulled many away from common sense, that privacy is necessary, and when it disappears, freedom and accountability is lost.
Yes, from what I can tell, Monero is the only crypto that can do this. Which is why it was delisted from all the large exchanges (coinbase etc) Which does make it hard to come by and a lot of scammers pretending to exchange it as well.
On the one hand, TPTB already have “full financial control” of us non-millionaire workin’ stiffs, cradle to grave. And the TPTB already de-bank uppity millionaires for political reasons. Plus, no way in the world were national governments going to permit their citizens to out-compete the national currency with Bitcoin or with anything else, including gold. So, perhaps governments & banks are now buying in to Bitcoin as a way to end the competition; whether the value bubble bursts or not at some point in the future won’t matter to TPTB.
On the other hand, “something’s up” 🤔 That’s for sure. Also certain, and no different from 100 years ago, TPTB never tell us workers to invest in land/ real estate and in marriage & children. Instead, everything that they do tell us to invest in benefits them first ‘n’ foremost, e.g. education & career development & 401K’s & Social Security checks, etc.. So, when TPTB do start promoting Bitcoin someday, then you’ll know it’s a total scam 😂, so I figure.

100%
Monero seems to be the only crypto that does what Bitcoin promised to do.
It is the choice of exchange for online black markets. Make of that what you wish
