The lists of protected classes under anti-discrimination law has expanded in new ways this year. Cities and states across the country now prevent discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations based on things like height, weight, hairstyle, and sexual health decisions.

If an employer or landlord violates the law, an individual can file a complaint or bring suit.

But we also think lawmakers have bigger fish to fry. We are concerned about the risk of frivolous lawsuits. And we most certainly don’t believe in reverse discrimination, which oddly seems to be rearing its ugly head.
